1/16 Sample Reducers

The waste portion of the sample is deposited in a reject pan, and the specimen fraction is diverted into a collection container. These reducers are effective for free-flowing granular materials with particle sizes up to 0.5in (12.7mm).

• 1/16 Heavy-Duty Sample Reducer offers up to four times more bulk sample capacity over traditional 1/16 sample reducers. It works well with free-flowing granular materials with particle sizes up to 0.5in (12.7mm), including proppant materials for hydraulic fracturing operations. It features a spring-loaded positive locking knob for fast adjustment of the flow table to 45° or 60° angles.
• 1/16 Sample Reducer provides a representative 1/16 sample from feed material during operations by systematically rejecting segments of material that flows down the adjustable 45° or 60° incline. The hopper is designed for use batch-wise or locked in an open position with larger samples.
