Mortar Penetrometers

Each model is supplied with six standard stainless steel penetration needles in bearing areas of 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/10, 1/20, 1/40 in² (645, 323, 161, 65, 32, and 16mm²), used for testing samples at regular intervals.

• Acme Penetrometer is a hydraulic-reaction benchtop device to determine the initial and final setting time of concrete mixes, mortars, and grouts.
• Manual Mortar Penetrometer is a spring-reaction apparatus for the initial and final set of mortars that have been sieved from concrete mixes.
